Model in one piece, supplied on a rotating stand.Based on data gained from x-ray diffraction studies, the model shows a section of a DNA double helix. The configuration of this double helix conforms with B-DNA, which is physiologically more significant when compared with the respective A or Z form. It is a clockwise double helix with 10.5 base pairs per coil and equivalent to a passage height of approx. 3.4 nm.
